Serial communication is the suggested interface within MPOS. But if that is not an option you must make sure you are using the suggested USB cable that is provided by Applied Digital. The problem usually is related to the drivers for the cables some are not compatible with certain operating systems and many do not work with 64 bit operating systems. Also those using the wireless G2 series of T-max Manager will need to download the adnet program from appdig.com to there computer and update the firmware to 34 or higher the version number will be listed on bed 10 when starting the unit. If it does not read 34 or higher this could interfere with communication with MPOS.
