If this error is generated in the commission management screen
This can be caused by typing apostrophes in sort able fields such as Product or services. To resolve you must enter management tools and select edit product database. You should remove any apostrophes from the list. You also want to change the names in the services and inventory setup screen removing all the apostrophes from the item name field.
If port error enter the Setup Wizard - Optional Equipment - Change the port that is used for either the serial cash drawer, USB cash drawer or customer pole display. This also can be caused by pager modem if paging is active. If this does not resolve the issue follow the instructions on resetting the MPOS registry settings using regedit
If this error is followed by a network error enter the Setup Wizard - General Setup - Network Options select the server option save and restart MPOS.
Also you may get this error with a network error message stating unable to find "smp.mdb" If you get this error when you are trying to connect a client workstation to the MPOS server computer, the issue is your mapped drive. You cannot use subdirectories in the mapped drive i.e. ("z:\sample folder\point of sale\") The path must open directly to the point of sale folder i.e. ("z:\Point of Sale\") by resolving this issue you will clear error 91 and any subsequent network error that is generated.
