Error 8002

Resolution:

You have specified to open a serial cash drawer using the port settings in the setup wizard. The port can not be opened or it is invalid. Enter the setup wizard and proceed to the optional hardware section. You can then uncheck or edit the serial cash drawer option or pole display.

If you are unable to enter the system then follow the steps below:

Click the start button then select "run" if you are using Vista or 7 then type "regedit.exe" in the search box then type "regedit.exe" Then double click on the following folders "HK Current User" then expand it Then "Software" and expand it. Then "VB and VBA Programs Settings" Then look for a folder named "MRCASH" Double click on this folder and select the Options folder
look for the Cashcom and Polcom options and delete these by right side clicking and selecting delete. This will allow you to enter the system again.
