Error 28

WHEN ENTERING THE CLIENT PROFILE OR SCHEDULING SYSTEM YOU RECEIVE THE ERROR 28 "OUT OF STACK SPACE

Resolution:

(Customer)
You have an invalid client profile. You have a record that has violated MS Access Rules. This record may contain large amount of text data in either a note field or memo field. To fix this problem you must scan through your database and find the client record that is causing the stack overflow. This can be done by simply deleting the last few client records that were created. Or you may need to go record by record using either advance mode or MS Access to locate the record. Once it has been located you should note the record then delete it. This should resolve error 28

Usually the first client alphabetically

(Inventory)

Also if you do not have any inventory or services (caused by either purging all of your items or loosing data in a system crash) in your stock inventory database this would cause 28 in the inventory screen. Resolution enter advance mode (Management Tools) - (Edit Cashregister Data) - (Advance Mode) and enter a single inventory and service line. This is needed to initialize the database.

(Tanning)

You may also get 438

Object Does not support this property or method

This means the same as customer explanation listed above but in the tanning screen a customer profile history has been overloaded with data and is causing a 28 error when trying to write to the history section. This is not indicative of the record that you are processing, It is one of the customer records in the customer database that is causing the issue. To resolve either follow the instructions listed under (Customers) shown above. Or you may need to backup your data then delete groups of client profile until you resolve the error then through process of elimination delete the suspect client profile.
