The difference between the MPOS Simple Start and MPOS Pro is how it integrates with QuickBooks. The Pro version exports your sales and will post them to your customer list inside of  QuickBooks. The Simple Start will export your sales but will not allow you to post them to a customer all sales will post to a generic customer profile called "New Customer".
