Resolution:
1. Make sure you are using at
least MPOS Version 6.0.3E or above to use this resolution.
2. You must first install the PC
Charge on each machine. Then network them using either Client server
or change the start in path of the launch icon. Once you have PC
charge setup with user account and unlocked. Proceed to step 3
3. Copy the file CCsetup.pcc from of
the main system or server. This file must be copied to another folder.
Either on the local machine or in another folder on the server. Then
using notepad edit the path of the main server or machine. From the
C:\Program Files\Point of Sale\ to network path i.e. (Z:\) this will
be the path that the client machine will look for when activating PC
Charge. It is important that when you change the data that you keep
the file integrity intact. The CCsetup.pcc file must end with 10 null
characters or spaces. For formatting purposes. Once this is done you
are now ready for step 4
4. In MPOS enter the setup wizard
then enter Credit card setup and enter PC Charge Setup. You must then
change the path to reflect the location of the new CCsetup.pcc file.
Not the original. This will allow multiple PC Charge systems to open
and send data files with out conflicting system paths. |
