Resolution:
This usually occurs
when trying to access client info or inventory. It
means that another program is at conflict with MPOS. It may
be, Microsoft Access or Access XP versions newer than 2002. You will
need to find out what has been recently installed - most likely that
is the culprit. Try to repair from MPOS CD (do backup 1st) then
restart the entire system. If this doesn't work then you will need to
deduce/uninstall the application in conflict. When removed do repair
again & restart or reinstall software allowing MPOS to install
whichever files it needs (even if writes over newer files). |

are missing either a sales account or bank account in your (SETUP
WIZARD - QUICKBOOKS SETUP) screen. To resolve type a valid account
in the required fields.
This error may occur if you a missing required
fields in certain records you will need to go to the "Management
Tools" - "Edit Cash Register" - "Advance
Mode" select the prd.mdb database then select the reportprod
table. look for columns labeled "Memo" &
"Sales Account" If they are missing data you will
need fill in the cells in order to export the record into QuickBooks. |

This happens when you setup a client machine before setting up your
server workstation. Follow the steps for deleting your MPOS
registry settings using Regedit.
You will need to register MPOS again (manually). Then proceed with
networking your computers starting with the servers then client

This error is caused by an unknown
software conflict. The only resolution available is to follow
the steps for Renaming your MPOS registry settings using Regedit.

you should not delete this folder. Instead you should rename
MrCash folder to 1MrCash. then restart MPOS. You may need to redo your
setup wizard settings again.

barcodes.ocx" and select OK.
If component is COMSR1.OCX then you
should update to your latest version to resolve. |

If this problems occurs within the scheduling system then the problem
consist of date formats MPOS uses the USA date format "MM/DD/YYYY"
format. If you are a international user you will need to change
your date format to the USA format This is done in Windows Control
Panel then by selecting - Regional & Languages Settings -
Customize, then date format then select Short Date. You can now change
the format to "MM/DD/YYYY" then Restart MPOS.
This error may be accompanied by error 444-method

letter i.e. F:/Program Files/Point of Sale/ This will resolve this

To resolve enter Management Tools - Edit Cash Register Data- Then
scroll down to that last record displayed at the bottom. Scroll over
to the right until you see a column labeled fop and change the fop
from "Credit Card" To "Cash" This happens when
invoice # 1 is deleted this is a temporary file used to initialize the
database and should not be deleted. When it is deleted it needs to be
replaced with the next invoice and the fop should be changed to cash.

employee profile. You must enter all of the employees information
before you select any other tabs. User should enter each employee one
by one then return to the first employee then enter there optional
information. MPOS does not save the new employee profile until you

Resolution:
On the Process a Tan screen you may see this error.
This a generic error and is usually
caused by apostrophes in a Last name, Customer Job, or Pack name
field.
First look at the tanning packages
names to make sure there is no asterisk or apostrophes.
Next go to the Customer Profile and
clean and repair the customer database. You will find this option on
the tool bar under EDIT-Clean and Repair
