Error 3077:SYNTAX ERROR (MISSING OPERATOR) IN EXPRESSION 
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

This can be caused by typing apostrophes in sort able fields such as first name, last name, customer job. You should remove any apostrophes from the list that is generating the errors.
 
Error 44 or 444:METHOD NOT APPLICABLE IN THIS CONTEXT

Resolution: 

Database tables are corrupted. You will need to open the database directly in MS Access and perform a repair (smp.mdb, prd.mdb, day.mdb, ts.mdb).  Otherwise you will need to contact a support representative to help you rebuild your tables if possible.
 
Error Automation: AUTOMATION ERROR
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

This u
sually occurs when trying to access client info or inventory.   It means that another program is at conflict with MPOS. It may be, Microsoft Access or Access XP versions newer than 2002. You will need to find out what has been recently installed - most likely that is the culprit. Try to repair from MPOS CD (do backup 1st) then restart the entire system. If this doesn't work then you will need to deduce/uninstall the application in conflict. When removed do repair again & restart or reinstall software allowing MPOS to install whichever files it needs (even if writes over newer files).
 
Error 94: INVALID USE OF NULL 
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

(IF IN QUICKBOOKS) You are missing either a sales account or bank account in your (SETUP WIZARD - QUICKBOOKS SETUP) screen. To resolve type a valid account in the required fields.

This error may occur if you a missing required fields in certain records you will need to go to the "Management Tools" - "Edit Cash Register" - "Advance Mode" select the prd.mdb database then select the reportprod table.   look for columns labeled "Memo" & "Sales Account" If they are missing data you will need fill in the cells in order to export the record into QuickBooks.

 
Error Dealer Dat: MISSING DEALER DAT FILE
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

This happens when you setup a client machine before setting up your server workstation.  Follow the steps for deleting your MPOS registry settings using
Regedit.   You will need to register MPOS again (manually). Then proceed with networking your computers starting with the servers then client machines.
 
Error 2147417848: OBJECT HAS DISCONNECTED FROM CLIENT
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

If problem occurs in the scheduling system see
automation error.  This error will be followed by many other error messages.
 
Error 62: INPUT PAST END OF FILE
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 
This error is caused by an unknown software conflict.  The only resolution available is to follow the steps for Renaming your MPOS registry settings using Regedit. Please note the instructions in Regedit are for deleting the settings you should not delete this folder.  Instead you should rename MrCash folder to 1MrCash. then restart MPOS. You may need to redo your setup wizard settings again.

If the issue is related to inventory or services see error # 76

 
Error 6: MODEM UNUSABLE FOR CALLER ID

Resolution: 
If error occurs when attempting to reprint an invoice user should update to 6.0.7 or above to resolve.

You should also disable caller ID feature in General Setup. The modem you have selected is not equipped to handle caller ID.

 
Error 339: COMPONENT BARODEX.OCX COMSR1.OCX / OR ONE OF ITS' DEPENDENCIES NOT CORRECTLY REGISTERED. A FILE IS MISSING OR INVALID

Resolution: 


If you receive this error number in windows 8 you must reinstall your MPOS software version (8) but when doing so right side click on the setup.exe file and select "Run as administrator"  This will allow the setup routine to register all components correctly using the admin credentials, otherwise you will need to use the command prompt in windows run command prompt as administrator and use the regsvr32 option to manually register every file that generates error 339.  In some cases you may need to unregister the file the register it again.


This error is usually followed by
error 53: file not found.  A component was not installed correctly & needs to be reinstalled or repaired. 

If this is the only set of error messages you can register the file manually by going into Window's and select Run or type in the search box in Vista or Windows 7,  "regsvr32 barcodes.ocx" and select OK.

If component is COMSR1.OCX then you should update to your latest version to resolve.

Error 3421: DATA TYPE CONVERSION ERROR
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

The resolution on this error is the same for
error 13. Update to the latest release of your software to resolve.
 
Error 3022:THE CHANGES YOU REQUESTED TO THE TABLE WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL B/C THEY WOULD CREATE DUPLICATE VALUES IN THE INDEX, PRIMARY KEY OR RELATIONSHIP.

Resolution: 

If this problems occurs within the scheduling system then the problem consist of date formats MPOS uses the USA date format "MM/DD/YYYY" format.  If you are a international user you will need to change your date format to the USA format This is done in Windows Control Panel then by selecting - Regional & Languages Settings - Customize, then date format then select Short Date. You can now change the format to "MM/DD/YYYY"  then Restart MPOS. 

This error may be accompanied by
error 444-method not applicable in this context & 3021- No current record.
 
Error System Font Setup: SCREEN FONT NOT SHOWING OR BACKGROUND COLOR DARK
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

Background color is the same as the font color. To resolve enter SETUP WIZARD - THEMES change setting to default.
 
Error 3021: NO CURRENT RECORD
System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 

Error means you have deleted all records and MPOS cannot process without 1 record being available

If Processing Tanning Package or Selling Package see error 2147217908

 

Error Network UNC:THE UNC PATH CANNOT BE USED OR IS INVALID

System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 
You have selected a network path in the SETUP WIZARD - GENERAL SETUP - NETWORK OPTIONS . That is invalid. If you are not networking your computer you should select server as your computer type. If you are networking to another computer select client then browse to a valid Mapped Drive. You cannot use a UNC path it must be a mapped drive letter i.e. F:/Program Files/Point of Sale/ This will resolve this error.
 

Error 31004: NO OBJECT - UNABLE TO PRINT MEMBERSHIP CARDS 

System Specific: MPOS Version 4,5,6,7
Resolution: 
There is either no picture selected or the picture that has been selected is invalid. If you do not see the picture you have selected. You should go to SETUP WIZARD - GENERAL SETUP - select "FAST IMAGE LOADING" Then try to insert your photo again. This should resolve 31004
 

Error Cash Register Fop: CASH REGISTER SYSTEM DEFAULTING TO CREDIT CARD IN THE FORM OF PAYMENT LIST.

Resolution: 
To resolve enter Management Tools - Edit Cash Register Data- Then scroll down to that last record displayed at the bottom. Scroll over to the right until you see a column labeled fop and change the fop from "Credit Card" To "Cash" This happens when invoice # 1 is deleted this is a temporary file used to initialize the database and should not be deleted. When it is deleted it needs to be replaced with the next invoice and the fop should be changed to cash.
 

Error 438: Object Does not support this property or method

If you have the PCI Option checked in the Setup Wizard - Credit Card Setup screen and X-Charge express link checked and your
ini database file is "Credit Card" then you will receive this error. To resolve simply set the INI database from "Credit Card" back to Cash

 

Error Daily Summary: DAILY SUMMARY REPORT IS SHOW ALL ZEROS WHEN DISPLAYED OR PRINTED

System Specific: MPOS Version 6,7
Resolution: 

No valid printer has been selected you must go to the printer menu and select printer setup then select a valid printer. Restart MPOS to resolve.

If you are a international user you will need to change your date format to the USA format This is done in Windows Control Panel then by selecting - Regional & Languages Settings - Customize, then date format then select Short Date. You can now change the format to "MM/DD/YYYY"  then Restart MPOS. 

 

Error 365:WHEN ENTERING EMPLOYEES SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO ENTER ANY OPTIONAL INFORMATION

System Specific: MPOS Version 6,7
Resolution: 
This Error occurs when you are have not completely added an employee profile. You must enter all of the employees information before you select any other tabs. User should enter each employee one by one then return to the first employee then enter there optional information. MPOS does not save the new employee profile until you have either entered a new profile or exited the employee profile.
 

Error 3131: Generic Error

System Specific: MPOS Version 6,7
Resolution: 
On the Process a Tan screen you may see this error.

This a generic error and is usually caused by apostrophes in a Last name, Customer Job, or Pack name field.

First look at the tanning packages names to make sure there is no asterisk or apostrophes.

Next go to the Customer Profile and clean and repair the customer database. You will find this option on the tool bar under EDIT-Clean and Repair


 

Error 20900: Date Conversion Error

System Specific: MPOS Version 6,7
Resolution: 

In either US or CA version if the date is not set to US format dd/mm/yyyy then you will receive this error to resolve use windows control panel and change the regional settings date format to the USA format.


 

Error 50003: Unexpected Error

System Specific: MPOS Version 8
Resolution: 

Version 8 uses several icons that are 32Bit images. If your computer does not support 32bit images, icons or you have it set to 16bit color mode in the control panel advance monitor settings then you will receive this error. To resolve update settings to enable 32bit images.
